Performant Tax Software
Performer Tax Software is a technological solution designed to help prevent tax violations by performers, including singers, musicians, dancers, and other band members. Previously, it was difficult to identify such violations because these types of performances were often arranged outside of official protocols and rules, making it challenging to enforce taxation in this profession.
In our system, taxes are not calculated based on a percentage of earnings but are fixed and depend on several parameters. Our software solution works as follows: all members of this system need to create an account on the Performer Tax Software platform. Each singer, band member, and the venue owner or establishment where the celebration, concert, or party takes place will have a separate profile.
The software is designed to serve as the primary and mandatory method for scheduling performances. Therefore, whenever an informal agreement is made for a performance, it is required that both the performer and the venue owner schedule the event through our system. In practice, the venue owner would send the performer the time and location of the scheduled performance, and the performer can either accept or reject the offer. If the performer chooses to accept, it is mandatory to list every member of the band.
Once the process of creating the performance and connecting all performers with the venue owner is completed, a shared QR code will be generated. This QR code serves as proof that the performance has gone through our system and ensures proper taxation. The option to enter a price is not provided during the creation of the performance because, as mentioned before, taxation for each performer is based on a fixed amount and depends solely on the number of performances, not the money earned from those performances.
With all the aforementioned features, our system allows tax authorities to easily conduct checks by scanning the QR code to verify whether the performance has been properly taxed. At the end of each month, every performer can review their liability towards the tax administration, the deadline for tax payment and the generated payment slip.
