GSM Utility software is intended for easy configuration of DECODE GT900–110, GT900–343 and GT900–686 devices, with functionalities as GPRS Router, SMS Reporter, GSM Key and SMS Gateway.
Utility is organized in tabs, single tab for each functionality.
This tab appears after starting the software.It is used for setting communication parameters, connecting to GSM Device, as well as for monitoring communication with GSM Device. Communication can be shown in separate window and saved in to the file. It could be used as terminal which gives possibility to manually send commands.
This tab appears when GSM Device is set to GPRS Router functionality. It consists of four tabs general, routing (parameters used to adjust routing), routes (list of routes) and analog/digital I/O.
This tab appears when GSM Device is set to SMS Reporter functionality. It consists of four tabs general, analog and digital inputs and outputs (parameters used to adjust relay outputs).
This tab appears when GSM Device is set to GSM Key functionality. This option is only possible for GT900–110 device. It consists of three tabs general, phones (list of up to 200 phone numbers) and I/O (digital input and relay output parameters).
This tab appears when GSM Device is set to SMS Gateway functionality. This option is only possible for GT900-110 devices. It consists of two tabs general and I/O (digital input and relay output parameters).
Transparent Mode enables direct communication with GSM module built in device.
Factory Default enables reset of all parameter to factory values.
Testing GSM hardware is useful in the event of a suspicion of a hardware failure. Different tests can be done, such as validating GSM functionality, analog/digital inputs, relay outputs.
